 Programming

For Mazak machines running from Fusion to Smooth Ai, I can create new programs in the Mazatrol conversational format. For other machine types I have good experience with Siemens, Heidenhain and Fanuc controls. And for EIA programming, I can create programs for all control types - Anything up to full 5 axis simultaneous machining using GibbsCAM.
Plus, I can write custom macro programs for any special machining processes, probing routines for workpiece setting and measuring with automatic tool offset adjustment; all of which can have an easy-to-use front end for your operators.
I can do this either on-site or from home.

 Training

Anything from operator training to advanced cutting techniques and macro writing. I have provided high-end programming courses for end users and Mazak dealers as far away as Australia.

Tool tip point control (G43.4) 3D Inclined plane machining (G68.2) and High speed machining (G05P2) to name just a few of the functions that I can assist you with.

 Problem Solving

There are many times when there is a problem with a finished part, especially during 5-axis simultaneous cutting. Gouges can appear on the workpiece surface - Is it the program, the process, the machine, or parameter settings? This is such a common issue that I’ve solved countless times.
Also, you may have issues with achieving the required tolerances. I can consider the complete process and identify problems that are causing the short-fall.
